Ectoplasm Salvaging - Guild Wars Forums

Where can I get ectoplasm? Since it is a rare material I imagine that I must use an expert salvage kit...but on what?

You get it from the Underworld or you can buy it.

ectoplasm drops in the underworld.
the Prima Guide says that you can salvage them from demonic remains shodowy remains and various types of wind rider eyes.
never have i encountered anyone who has successfully salvaged an ectoplasm.

I wouldn't trust the prima guide... There's been enough people posting stating they have tried expert salvaging demonic remains, etc and never getting any ecto in 100+ tries..

not to say that it's not possible - maybe you can expert salvage em... but it seems the chance is extremely, extremely rare... and so unless your wealthy enough to just keep trying it... better off just buying from players/traders or doing boring runs and hoping for a drop

Oh no,. USE THE SEARCH BUTTON FFS! I dont know how many theards there are about Ecto Salvaging now .....
